What does the Hydro Dipping Activator do?

The activator’s job is to completely liquefy the ink that is printed on the Hydrographics PVA-foil, without damaging the PVA, the image or the colours.

The activator is applied to the PVA-film that is placed on the water, the PVA-film will absorb water until it ‘dissolves’

However, the ink of the print on the PVA-film does not dissolve in water on its own, this is where the Activator comes into action! After the activator is applied to the print, it “activates” the ink.
